My Awesomes Friends in Memphis

When I arrived to memphis I felt nervous because I arrived with a purpose learn English that was new for me.

So I decide that my friends are my motivation, my hobby, my entertain, ,etc
And interact with they're make me learn because the people don't just learn in the school also our can learn in any place from anyone for example the parents,
They can learn the valor of the life, and how to be respectful.

A Summary of RAIN MAN

     I read some stories in Reading & Writing class such as Cinderella Man and The Signalman. Today, I would like to show you a summary of RAIN MAN because of getting this story straight by myself.

     A main character, Charlie Babbitt is a handsome man but also a selfish. One day, he heard that his father died but he felt nothing because he didn't like his father. That's why he went to his father's house with his girl, Susanna in Cincinnati due to only getting his father's money. As a result, although he got his father's car and roses, he couldn't get his money. Then, he went to Dr Bruner's house in Ohio and knew Raymond who was his secret brother and an autistic person. And then, Charlie kidnapped Raymond for his money and went back to Cincinnati with Susanna. After arrived a hotel, she finally found why did Charlie bring his brother and left him with anger. Then, he knew that Raymond had special skill through their trip. Before got his money, Charlie needed go back to Los Angeles in order to save his business. One evening that they were staying in a hotel, Charlie remembered Rain Man who was a secret friend when he was a child. He also found that Raymond was Rain Man by looking at Raymond's picture and talking to him. Finally, he remembered Rain Man all. Then, he decided to get custody of Raymond. Although he got his business problem that he lost much money at the same time, he solved it by using his brother and winning the Golden Casino in Las Vegas. Then, Susanna came back to them. Also, She felt sad for Raymond and danced with him when Charlie wasn't at there. The next morning, they went to Los Angeles without Susanna due to get custody of Raymond. His thought definitely changed. He didn't need his money. He just wanted his brother. Then, he talked about Raymond to Dr Marston who is a special doctor and Dr Bruner who has his father's money. In the end, Charlie couldn't get his father's money and Custody of him. But he got a right to see him.

     As we know, this story is not happy ending. But I think that Charlie felt happy because he got more important thing than money. I guess that he is going to see him every week after this ending. What do you think?

Sunny's socks

      I would like to introduce ''socks''.You may wondering why Sunny wants to talk about socks cause I think socks are really important to us.First,they keep our foot warm when winter comes.Second,they can decline friction when we are walking or jogging.Next,they can make us happy.
      I love to select socks and pick them up on the morning,I really enjoy the moment.They are adorable and sexy,always smile at me.I am interest in whole kinds of socks such as funny style,a lots of dot in it,cartoons etc.Therefore,I stuck in sucks stores when I was in Taiwan,I can spend more than 1 hours to select them!
      Those are my pretty socks,I want to show them to you guys because they deserve it!Don't you think they are the cutest in the world?I love my socks a lot and I appreciate they always comfort me.Thanks you,dear socks. ^________________^
     

Man who Doesn't Like Beans

       The story took place in some kilometer from the capital of my country which is Mali. A man of the name of Aly ate for nothing in the world of the bean. Since he was a child, his mother, brothers, sisters and even his friends tried everything but he did not always want to eat it and he did not either want to say the reason of his refusal to eat it thus the inhabitants of the village in complicity of the family of Aly put a plan in position. Since Aly was a child its dream was to become the husband of the beautiful Rouki. As inhabitants of the village knew that Aly was in love with Rouki, they wanted to take advantage of the situation. They thus asked the cousin of Aly who is called Iba to go asking for Rouki in marriage, by knowing that it would not please Aly.

The following morning, the relatives of Rouki spread the news in the entire village that they are going to give their daughter in marriage to the person who is going to answer their criterion. The person has to eat any kinds of foods without exception. As Aly did not want that his lady-love becomes the woman of another man, he asked officially Rouki in marriage and he fell into the trap. At night, Rouki prepared a good dish with beans for the attention of Aly. When this one opened the lid, he was not surprised seeing beans in its plate therefore he refused to eat. Then his wife told him, if you do not eat my dish that means you do not love me, and that will be the end of our marriage but if you do, I promise you that nobody will know. 

As he loved his wife and did not want that she leaves, he accepted but on one condition. Aly told his wife, tell me the name of the person to whom you trust more and go call her for me. His wife went to find her best friend then, Aly repeated the same question to the best friend of his wife. Few hours later, the entire village was met in Aly' s house because they wanted to know if Aly had eaten the beans that Rouki prepared for him. Unfortunately for the inhabitants of the village Aly didn't eat the beans that his wife prepared, he wanted to be sure, he could trust her and he told his wife, if I had eaten your meal this evening the entire village was going to know it because you told it to your best friend and this one was going to tell it to her best friend and that one will do the same things. That is why I don't trust you and I can't still eat your bean. After this event, the inhabitants of the village decided to leave quiet Aly because they understood that if his wife didn't arrive to make him eat it anybody could.

            I would like to talk about the Rain Man

book; for me this book was very interesting because it talk about Charlie Babbitt who was a very interested and selfish guy; he just wanted the inheritance from his father, but he never thought the person who received the inheritance from his father was his brother; he doesn’t knew he had a brother; when he went to a mental hospital searching about his money he met his brother Raymond and he decided to kidnap him to receive the inheritance, at the beginning took care Raymond was very difficult for Charlie because Raymond was an autistic person, but over time he realized  his brother was a very smart person and he can count very fast and had many good qualities; at the beginning the only thing that Charlie was looking for was the money but when he spend time with his brother he become attached to him; he realized his brother is more important that 3 million dollars, at the end he tried to took the custody of Raymond but  he can´t, he thought in the hospital he will be safe but he gave Raymond something  that in the hospital doesn´t gave him and that was love.

 

         

 

 

 

        

 

 

 

 

Special Moments

Ohhh nooo!!! my japanese friens are leaving to ours country in two weeks, i will miss them a lot but i won't forgot the special moment that i spent with then oh that was so many fantastic moments the most important thing that i saw that was i am good whit asian peole becouse i can make them lauhg and smile i realy like that becouse make feel in my glory also i will remenber so many good moments.

like hallowen ,many funny classes,when we where meeting each other,gone out to the restaurants. i realy past a good time with then and i hope that them realy enjoy as me 

Who is Hero or am I Dreamer?

  Today I was really astonished!!
It might become long story. So, to say first conclusions, I forgot my i pod when I  exercised at the gym. And today, I went there. After exercise, there was my i pod in my bag. So someone　thought that just I forgot to keep it in my bag. But I think this is strange something. I have some evidence.
  Talk about detail,　I did't know that I leave my i pod when I left at the gym. But My friend text me "Are you still at the Gym?  I saw a i pod on the equipment that you used." Unfortunately, I notice this text two hours after that it happened. When I saw this text, I thought he could keep my i pod for me. But next text he said,"I saw it but i am not sure it is yours, so i gave the manager. You should go back to the gym and take back your i pod." So I went back to there soon. I asked desk clerk and manager who worked I used the place. But anyone didn't see it. I gave up to find it.
  And today, in any case I went to the gym and I asked them again. but they said as same answer. I did exercise for an hours. I always put my bag on the shelf. So, I did't check my back during the exercise. If someone backed to it my bag, I was really surprise. I know this probability is really small. But I was confused. Anyway I was relief that my i pod came back.
 

How to be healthy?

     Taking care of health is very important for person life. I think there are some ways we can follow to keep healthy.
Good physical health is an essential thing for us. We should exercise three to for times we can play sport like running, summing or walking Also eating healthy food is necessary. We should eat more vegetables and fruit and avoid fast food. Mental health is another significant issue. It is very important to avoid anxiety and stress. People need time to relax and get away from their work. They need to do what they like and make them happy. Money is not the only way for happiness. we should spend time visiting friends, and doing interesting things like reading books and watching movies. All these ways are very helpful to have good health and life.  

Slaughter Animals

    Muslim people have a different way to slaughter animals. How is slaughtering and why do we have a different way to slaughter? When someone wants a carcass, he will pick an animal. But, there is a difference between a sheep and a camel. For example, if someone picks a sheep, it will be a different slaughter than when he picks a camel. Also, we have rules to slaughter for both of them. First, if he picks it, he will give it water.Then he must face it to Mecca, say Bismillah and Allahu-akbar, and slaughter it by knife strongly and quickly. We have these rules to kill animals because it is healthier. And we obey Allah, and his messenger. Islamic religion is uniqe in this way. Why do not other religions do the same.

A Motherless Child

                Imaging being a young girl who doesn't have a care in the world. Suddenly , the young girls whole life changes when she finds that her mother has a terminal illness. The girls mother must face months of treatment that leaves her sick most of the time. Despite the treatment , her mother passes away leaving the young girl. Motherless at the age of ten. In the book, motherless daughter : a legacy of loss , hope Edelman explores the effects women experience when they loss their mothers.        
               This book is based on interviews with many motherless survivors. The author also discusses her own experience with losing her mother . She discusses how a woman's identity is shaped when she she grows up in the absence of her mother and how present day relationship are defined by past losses . The author also gives an understanding of grid and how one is affected by it
          The loss of a mother is significant to any child, but especially Ina woman's life . A child may go through the grieving process for years following the loss of the mother . This process is not predictable , and many woman think they are over the grieving until faced with a major event in their lives. This may cause her to grieve all over again. Examples of when this may happen include planning a marriage , a birth or a new job . The author discussed.                       How she much she missed her mother in the book . She missed her mother , terribly, when I graduated from college . I missed her when I got my first job promotion . Edelman lost her mother at the age of seventeen . She has found that it has also been difficult to be close to the age her mother died and to realize just how  young she was when she died. Another difficult thing Edelman has faced was having trouble remembering how her mother was prior to becoming ill. Most of her memories are related are related to the hair loss

Giving Thanks

Last Tuesday was my birthday. My children and husband, and my school friends made me a lot of surprises.

The first one was a delicious breakfast with kisses and hugs from my family. I received a beautiful birthday card with drawings made by my two boys. Then, my son brought me a beautiful box with chocolates, a pair of earrings, and tickets to Jonh Mayer's concert. I really loved it!!!

Later, at University of Memphis, my friends sang Happy Birthday in many languages, such us Spanish, French, Arabic, and Japanese. My friend Katherine brought us a yummy tres leches cake.

Thank you very much Kathe and guys, everything was awesome!

 I spent Thanksgiving in Atlanta with my husband and children. We had a great time together. I'm very thankfull and blessed for my life, family, friends and my English course.

 I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving.

First Time to Celebrate Thanksgiving

                 It was November 28, 2013 around 10 o'clock in the morning when I received the call from my coworkers to come to their houses for the Thanksgiving dinner.I can't wait to get in there because I was so excited for the first time have Thanksgiving dinner.
       First, I drive my car from my home to theirs places. I didn't know nothing special about Thanksgiving, but I have to come over to see how things going on. I met a lot people there wishing each other happy Thanksgiving and serve the foods for the guest. On the meat I saw turkey everywhere. We were eating,drinking, and having a lot of fun.
      Next, I decided  going to another friends invitation  around 4 o'clock in the evening . As soon as I made in there, they tried to feed me for the same kind of food as the first place: the turkey and drinks.
We eat and we have so much fun there too. We enjoyed for the next couple hours and decided together to shopping.
      Finally, my friends and I went for the Black Friday shopping at the Best Buy around 6:30. The store was already open and people was running  to get at the first the stuffs that they need . Everybody was looking for the good deal. I saw some looking for electronics apparels: TV's, Computer's, and many things that they need. I look at for myself and find me a TV and speakers for my home.
At all, Thanksgiving and Black Friday was a good experience for me and I really enjoyed and learned somethings about Americans' cultures.  
         

INDIA is great country

India is great country . Her civilization is vast and varied . Her history is full of events. She was known to outside world from early times . In the East, she received respect as as land of wisdom . In the West, she rose to fame as a land of wealth . Through ages, the glories of India found place in world history .                                                                                                                                          
               The original name of India is Bharatvarsha, or the land of Bharat . As mythological figure , Bharat was the son of king  Dushyanta and Shakuntala, and was a mighty hero. The ancient Aryans gave name to their land after the name of the great monarch . According to another belief, Bharat was the son of  Rushabha Deva and was a great king. The name Bharatvarsha was given after his name . This name was applied to the whole land from the  Himalayas to the seas. It covers the entire geographical  India . The People of the land were  described as Bharat  Santati or  descendants of Bharat .
             The  name Indian came from the name of the river Sindhu. The ancients Persians called that river ' Hindu' . In course of time the name Hindu was applied to the people and the was called Hind.the Greeks and Romans called the land
          The ancient Greeks called the river Sindhu as Indu. Like  the Persians, the Greeks and Romans called the land as Hind or India. Finally, from these words came the name  ' India, for the land. The people were called ' Indians.'
          As the people were known as Hindu, by middle ages,the land was called Hindustan .
          The names India and Bharatvarsha have as great significance . They are the names for the whole land from the Himalayas to cape comorin and from Hindukush to Burma . When the ancient Greeks could not think of as small Greece as their motherland , the ancient Indians thought of a huge sub continent as their mother country. They thought of this oneness long  before their rulers attempted at political unity.

'THE CALL OF THE WILD'

The book main character is a big dog. The period is in 1897. The year, some people need dogs to look for gold. His name is Buck. He lived in California. It is warm and comfortable place. One day, he was stolen and then story is beginning. He was taken north places. That time, he saw snow for the first time. When he resisted someone, he was hit with a club many times. They were stolen. In the north area, he pulls a sledge with others. It was hard work for him, but he got used to do it. He is getting stronger. He sometimes fought dogs to be leader.By fighting, disease, or injured, some dogs died. His owner changed some times. When the third is the worst, he was hit a whip. But he met an owner, he didn’t hit him and he fed enough food. He became famous, because he heped the owner three times and he had faith in the owner. But one day, his friends, his dogs and he were killed like native people. Buck survived, but he got mad. And he found them and he killed some of them. He encountered wolf’s pack, but he was stronger than wolves. Then he and wolves became friends. Some woleves have golden hair. Native people call them Ghost Dog. The dog can meet wolves, so it is not always alone.

 I think the dog is poor. If it was not stolen, it could spend normal life. I think pulling sledge is hard work. Also, it is too cold wheather. I don’t like it too. I know dogs are faithful. So, it would help an owner. Before, I had a dog. When it died, I was very sad. I know dogsledge, but I didn’t know it is severe. Dogs often fight to prove strong and to be the leader. Buck became an excellent leader. I think it is good. I felt sad when injured and got disease dogs were killed with a gun. So, I think just strong dogs can be alive. When the dog met last owner, he could know love. The first owner of Calfornia didn’t give love to it. I’m not sure it was really happy, but I think it could know loves. That is good. But he and others were killed, I thought it can live mild days. So, it was pity. It went back to wild. It is probably not alone. It couldn’t live with human. He would live in wild, because he is not alone. I like this story but I think ending is a little sad. Surely, he would be free. 

'The Secret Garden'

 I read that book. First, I didn’t kile it so much. I thought it it was a dark story. Also, main character Mary always odered her servant and she had temper and crossness. After her family died, she went to her uncle’s house. She got same attitude. One day, she found the garden and the key, thus she could enter that. Her feeling gradually went changed better by making friends and playing in the nature. Her uncle hated the garden, because his wife died in the place. Also, he didn’t like his son to remember his wife. The son Colin was sick like Mary. Therefore he didn’t have good emotion and he couldn’t walk. But he got well by meeting her, friends, and nature. His father usually went out. He was also sick. But change of mind appears to him by seeing flower and dream of his wife. He came back to his home. Then he met his son who was becoming healthy and playing with Mary and friends. They told the garden’s magic to Mr. Craven his father. They were laughing. Therefore they became healthy and happy by the secret garden. After I read the second half, I became to like this story.

Japanese Winter Dishes Nabemono(quick cooked stews)

 Thanksgiving day is just around the corner!! It is first time to experienced thanksgiving day for me, therefore I'm looking forward to it! Speaking of Thanksgiving day, My American friends experienced to me to say "so much food." So that I would like to introduce Japanese Winter dishes!

It is called Nabemono

Nabemono dishes are hearty wintertime favorites prepared from seafood, chicken, meat and vegetable in a bubbling cardlon right at your table. Serving  trays are piled high with raw ingredients and brought to the table, where dinners sometimes share in the cooking duties although often stuff will do all of the preparation. Everyone then helps themself communal stew pot sharing the meal in a convivial manner.

I like to eat Nabe. Because when we eat Nabe, we have a good conversation time. 

Especially in winter season, it can enjoyed to share the stew pot.

Cinderella

     Today, we took a test about the Cinderella Man. We wrote a paragraph at last question. While I was writing a paragraph, I was curious about the story of Cinderella. Therefore I researched about that and found out that Cinderella has thousands of variants. These are known throughout the world. I’m interested in the origin of story. Cinderella also has the origin of story. According to material, the Cinderella story may have originated in classical antiquity. The ancient Greek recorded in the 1^st century BC. The story called the story of Rhodopis. Rhodopis was a girl who lived in the Greek colony of Naucratis in Ancient Egypt. Here is the story of Rhodopis.

 

     They tell the fabulous story that, when she was bathing, an eagle snatched one of her sandals from her maid and carried it to Memphis. While the king was administering justice in the open air, the eagle, when it arrived above his head, flung the sandal into his lap. The king, having been stirred both by the beautiful shape of the sandal and by the strangeness of the occurrence, sent men in all directions into the country in quest of the woman who wore the sandal. When she was found in the city of Naucratis, she was brought up to Memphis and became the wife of the king...

 

     When I read it, I was really surprised that this story happened in Memphis of Ancient Egypt. The origin of the state of Memphis in America came from there. I think that the Cinderella and “Memphis” are very closely related to each other. It is very interesting. I want to read a lot of books and study deeply some more.

My Dream 'Voice Actor'

     In the future, I want to be a voice actor. There are two reasons. At first, some of my hobbies are to watch dramas, movies and animations. I have liked them since I was a kid. Also, I have performed on the radio before. At that time, I acted as a character in the program and learnt putting on an act is interesting. On the other hand, when I was seventeen years old, I gave up going to high school because of a terrible illness. Then, I looked like a dead person for a year. I was giving up hope about my life after my illness became to get better. But even if that is the case, I had to think about the future of my life. So, I began to study for exams in order to enter in an university I want to go. One day while studying, my teacher introduced a voice actor to me. I met him and talked about many things. I learnt from him that the job is often hard but also fun. Then, I had an experimence as a voice actor in his workplace by his kindness. I thought that voice actor is a wonderful job for me through that experimence. For these reasons, I decided to be an voice actor after graduated from my university.

Nest Demolished

    This a story to everyone who is not satisfied with his life. Days passed sparrow did not speak. Angels were wondered; why this sparrow does not speak oh God? God is responded! It will come inevitably. I am only hear the ear its complaint and I am only heart that holds its nation.

 In the day the sparrow stood on tree's branch; Angels are awaited it to talks. But it is a still silent . . . God talks with it! Tell me what is that things closed your chest? I had a small nest what was shelter my tire and loneliness, but you are already took it from me. It asked God! Why did you sand the storm and what did you annoy? And the sparrow choked with its tears.

 And solving silence in the royalty. Angels were down their heads to think. God said! It was snake there moving to your nest. And you were sleeping. I ordered the wind to wake you in order to survive. Sparrow boggles in the Godhead of God. God said! How much of ill I kept their from you. Because I love you, but you were feud me of that. Its tears gathered in its eyes and it started to cry. Oh God! What are you amiable!!

You do not become sad if God prevent any thing you want or you love. If you know how God arranges your thing, your heart will melt. Oh God! What are you great! When you find a man stop beside you? You remember your God is the one who sent to you to help. But if you do not find any one beside you remember your God is exists every where and any time. God is going to help us.
