A Marvelous Day at the Ghost River

  My family and my Brazilians friends planned an expedition to the Ghost River.
  We have communicated via e-mails since September.
  My husband prepared a check list for this special day.
  We used our canoe and rented anothers six.
  Finally the great day arrived, it was Saturday, November 2.

 We hired a guide to take us on our adventure. He started by briefing the group on safety and told us about the markers we had to follow. He was terrific!

  The kids had a lot of fun, they paddled and we had a picnic by the river. The little boys played on the riverbank, ran and roasted marshmallows on a camp fire.   

    
  The view to the Ghost River is magic and very calm.

  In a moment my son Kevin (6 years old) said " Thank You God for this wonderful place". My husband and I looked at each other and with emotion in the eyes I thanked God for our family.

  It was a special day that will remain in memory for all of us.
