I want to talk about my first trip to America.
My first trip in America was one the trip unforgettable for me because I learn a lot things about America. First, I didn't know how to speak English , next I learn about American cultures and finally I learn about the variety of people who live in America.
My first difficulty was how to speak English, it was very hard for me to speak to the people because french is our principal language, and we got our national language.
The hardest part started for me when I was in the airplane from Guinea to New York,it was hard for me even to ask the drink or coffee. When the hottest came to asked me what kind foods or drinks do you want? I didn't know how answered them and when we arrived to New York, I missed my trip from New York to Atlanta because I didn't what the are saying and how to change the airplane to get in Atlanta and how to pick up my luggage.
Next, I learn about American cultures. People from America and people from others country have different cultures.For example in my country we don't know about Halloween and Thanksgiving, now I saw little people from different countries are interesting about Halloween and Thanksgiving.In America,half of Americans young people
smoke and drink at an earlier age. Most of them cross out the older
people.
Finally, America had a variety of people around the world.It is the one of the biggest continent and it has more population than other continent . Since I came in America I saw all kinds of race in this continent.
In concluding, my first trip in America was very interesting for me and very helpful in my life.
I was nervous when I got on airplane,flying to America too.They spoke so fast that I can barley understand what they were talking about!!!So I just kept saying ''water,please,thank u'' and ''no,thank u''.
ReplyDeleteI agree that lots of people here have been smoked since they were teenager or even younger!!!!There are 5 American in my uncle's restaurant and 4 of them smokes when they are 14.

Fode, is this your first trip over here now or did you come before? When was this? I also agree with everything you write; there is so much that's new, it's difficult and impossible to grasp all that at once. You wrote a very nice post. Thank you for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteP.S. As far as writing, at times, you make mistakes with plural nouns. For example, "others country" should be 'other countries' and "one of the biggest continent" should be 'continents' (one of many). Good job otherwise!!
